Biography
Mahesh B. Borhade is an Internal Medicine, ABIM ( board certified) hospitalist. I have finished my residency in 2011 from Michigan. I have worked as Medical Director at Skilled Nursing facility at Maine's veterans nursing home for 3 years along with a traditional internist, serving residents of Aroostook county in Maine. I have worked as a hospitalist at Cape Fear Valley Hospital for last 4 years and I have extensive experience in Acute medical care, academics and research. I have also been involved as a teaching faculty as Assistant professor at Methodist University. I have a background in Molecular Biology and biochemistry with a M.S. degree. I have also been involved as an editor and as an article author for publication of peer- reviewed medical articles. I shall join in next 2 weeks at Person Memorial Hospital as a Program Director for the hospital and as a Medical Director for Extended Care Unit a Nursing Home affiliated with hospital. I am also in a process of being certified as a Physician Adviser with a certification in American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians.
